The Project Overview
Towr is a leading on-demand logistics provider that connects businesses with a massive fleet of delivery drivers. With the rapid expansion of their B2B partnerships, their legacy application architecture struggled to keep up with peak demand. Real-time driver location updates were lagging, leading to inefficient dispatches, customer frustration, and lost revenue.
Our Approach
We took a holistic approach to re-engineer their entire dispatch and tracking ecosystem:
- Sub-second Geo-tracking Cache: We implemented a high-performance Redis cache layer to store and update driver locations in real-time, decreasing the load on the primary PostgreSQL database by 85%.
- WebSocket Dispatching: We replaced their HTTP polling mechanism with WebSockets, enabling instant communication between the dispatch server and the driver app.
- Resilient Next.js Admin Panel: We developed a highly responsive real-time monitoring dashboard for Towr administrators to visualize driver capacity, order flows, and traffic disruptions.
Tech Stack & Architecture
We utilized a robust stack to ensure absolute resilience and scalability:
"Webeedream's engineering overhaul completely transformed our operations. We went from daily platform outages during rush hours to a bulletproof, sub-second dispatch flow. Our fleet efficiency has skyrocketed."

Chief Operating Officer, Towr LogisticsThe Impact
The results of our engineering effort were immediate and far-reaching:
- 350% Scale Capacity: The system now seamlessly handles over 10,000 transactions daily.
- Dispatch Time Cut by 40%: Automating the driver matching logic and streaming updates in real-time cut dispatch delays dramatically.
- 99.99% Uptime: Re-architecting on AWS ECS with auto-scaling ensured that the application remains fully stable during high-demand events.
